About
Me!

I graduated from Drama School in 2001 and went on to work for Royal Caribbean International as a lead singer for 5 years. After meeting my (now husband) there, we finally settled back in London. In 2012 I was working in a job I loved when I suffered an ectopic pregnancy. Not long after I lost my job too, due to redundancy. I signed on with the Job Centre and, at the time, they were offering funding for a self-employment training programme. It was the best thing that could have happened. My mentor was so knowledgable and I learned a lot.
I created my own business; first a jewellery making business, which became a sweets business, and (after many learning curves) is now my bespoke iced cookie company.
My husband and I went on to have two children, both boys. They have tons of energy and use up all of mine. It has been a series of ups and downs, finding time to work on P&C and doing everything myself with very little money! I tend to work evenings and weekends, when the boys aren't around - otherwise they try to steal the cookies! I’m now proud and privileged to say that my cookies have been in the hands of celebrities - an achievement I never dreamed could happen!
What else do I get up to?
I divide my time between spending time with my family, working on DIY projects for the house, seeing as many musicals as I can, and my other startup business: Tech Tips For Mums - you can follow me there too - @techtipsformums - to find out more! I absolutely love volunteering at my local Not-For-Profit Cafe ‘The Rusty Bike Cafe’ in Fassnidge Park, Uxbridge, where I also supply cakes and bakes.
